These paintings move outwards, into the distance, light and the spaces between moments. 

Figures appear at the edge of the landscape: walking, pausing or partially obscured. They are held within their surroundings rather than placed at the centre. The landscape is not described in detail but experienced - shaped by light, time and memory.

There is no fixed narrative, only sense of movement and passing.

What is seen remains partial. What is felt continues beyond it.
